I have been focusing on being more intentional in my thankfulness. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Yes, I have been finding the gifts that God gives me everyday. I make it a goal to find at least three per day. It becomes addicting. I have a notebook that I have on my counter and I write down these gifts.

If I am not at home at the time; I snap a picture with my phone or write it down on a scrap piece of paper. I am finding that the more I do this, the less grumbling and complaining takes place.

Guess what I have discovered... I am in general happier and calmer about life. Honestly, I am finding the gifts in even in the harder days. It is amazing what I can learn in the hard things. Snowy cold days? I am thankful for the gift of a warm home and warm clothing.

Drive over a curb and high-center my car days? I find I am thankful for insurance and a husband who just says...Oops!

A runny nose and cough...ugh! I am thankful for easy access to medications to ease the symptoms.

A dear friend passes away? I am thankful for the life she shared with me and that I was blessed to know her.

I designed the "Simply Thankful For All Good Things" card keeping this in mind. First of all this is a very quick and simple card to make. I love that. While I enjoy creating over the top cards, I also need quick and pretty cards as well. This card was created using the Come To Gather designer series paper, the stamps from Harvest Hellos and that fabulous Apple Builder Punch, the sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set. I highly recommend using the Stamparatus to get a beautifully stamped image for the sentiment.

Layering white card stock onto a piece of Merry Merlot and you have this beauty.

Simply Thankful
