There you have it. This card was inspired by a cute maternity top I saw.
I have a very sweet friend, her mom is my dear friend and I have watched her grow up from her early teen years. She has an adorable little boy who has a really cute and fun personality. She and her husband decided it was time to add to their family and last year they found they were expecting another baby boy. Sadly he came just a little bit too early and he passed away a short 24 hours after her was born. This was as you can imagine a very difficult and sad time for them.
I am happy to announce that just a few days ago she shared that she is expecting her rainbow baby later this year. I have been following her progress and the other day she posted a photo of her baby bump and she had on the cutest maternity top. And the next morning I woke up with an idea for a card inspired by her top.
It is amazing where we can find inspiration for card making. Everywhere from a sunset to a flower bed, from a container of Christmas ornaments to a forest, even a paint chip to...well a maternity top.
