A beautiful vase can be a showstopper on its own. There are so many stunning vases that I have seen. From crystal to pottery, bud vases and mason jars, square vases and cylinder vases, rustic and elegant vases...so many more options. And they are beautiful in their own right. A vase can hold a bride's bouquet or a bunch of dandelions picked by a child to delight us.
I have lots of flowers in my yard and I love to cut a few and show off in the house. It adds life to my house.
I was inspired to create this card after looking at a collection of vases a friend of mine owns. Although to be honest I was having a little bit of a hard time figuring out just how I wanted to design it.
I had been watching a video of how to use scraps of Designer Series Paper for card making and wanted to play around with the idea of using 1" x 1" squares.
I used the Boho Indigo Product Medley from Stampin' Up! for this card. Want to know why I used it? Because it was on my desk because of that vase thing and easy to grab. I am so pleased with the results of this card.
