It Takes A Good Man

I think I am one of the most blessed of women.

I have been fortunate enough to have several really good men in my life.

I think of my dad who has always been in my life and always been an amazing example. He has shown me what a good husband looks like and has always put my mom first. He has shown me what a good father looks like and he always provided for us, played with us, taught us, laughed with us and disciplined us as needed. He is an amazing story teller and has never met a stranger. He is an awesome grandpa and I love to watch my adult sons interact with him. They have an amazing relationship.

Then I think of my husband...he is the finest man I know. He came to our marriage with two sons and then we have had two more sons. I admire him more than words can really ever say, but I am going to give it my best try. Mark is a pastor who loves the Lord shares his faith readily and he lives his faith. For almost 40 years I have walked by his side. Has it been easy? What marriage is? Has it been worth it? ABSOLUTELY. I have been by his side as he has buried his parents. We have held each other up as we have buried our two oldest sons; one lost his life after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and the other took his life less than a year ago after a hard fought battle with war related PTSD. My husband has been a rock for myself and for our other younger two sons as we have navigated some very difficult times. He has been our cheerleader and biggest supporter in all we do. He is a good man.

When I saw the A Good Man stamp set offered by Stampin' Up! I was so excited to try it out. And the catalog had some awesome samples. I changed them up slightly to suit my tastes. But I think you will find that it is an easy set to use.
