Meant to be discarded...

Writer's picture: Brenda PaulsenBrenda Paulsen

I love ephemera art and honestly had no idea why it was called that. So I looked up the definition.

1 : something of no lasting significance —usually used in plural. 2 ephemera plural : paper items (such as posters, broadsides, and tickets) that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles.

So there you have it. I love the idea of taking things that could be tossed aside (or in the bin as they say across the pond) and making it beautiful and useful again.

And of course I love Vintage and Steampunk.

This set of cards are right up my alley. I designed them using the Soar Confidently stamp set found in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! along with some Stampin' Blends and some pages out of an old dictionary.
