When I was growing up my dad would make up all kinds of sayings and to be honest I am uncertain how many are made up and how many he "doctored" for our benefit.

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where all the flowers is! Yep, this was a favorite and to this day I can't think of spring without thinking of this saying. It makes me smile and it makes me happy.

I love winter. But this winter was a particularly snowy and long one. I had a five foot drift of snow across my front yard and in front of my craft room window for months. I am not kidding we had FEET of snow. Then a few weeks ago it warmed up some and we were able to get outside and all of the snow melted and it was glorious. Then a few days after Easter it snowed again. All. Afternoon. Thank goodness it didn't stick around but gosh I have honestly had enough.

So I decided if the flowers aren't going to 'riz' outside, I was going to make a card with flowers on it. I shut my curtains, fixed a cuppa coffee and turned my temporary pout into a creative outlet.

I love this card and I think the Soft Sea Foam is the perfect color for this card.

I hope you will give it a try.
